Tom Sachs in Paris: will lawyers suit him or send a nasty letter?
Hello Kitty and Miffy fans have a good reason to visit Paris and The Tour Eiffel, Tom Sachs has placed them at the base of the Tower temporarily, in conjunction with his show at Galerie Thaddaeos Ropac.
We got this information from the editor of this superb blog about fashion and related aspect.
Of course we love the sculptures but we wonder if Mr Sachs did receive a “Cease and Desist” letter as I have received twice from Miffy’s publisher. May be he has better lawyers or much more money to fight. Ok, may be he is paying for using old grandma’s image.
Anyways if you are in Paris or you plan to travel there is a good idea to pay them a visit.

BTW,
Why is Miffy crying?
did Kitty rob her teddy or abuse her in any way?
You can not trust cats.

I saw some pictures on Flickr that these sculptures were first shown in New York, and now moved to Paris.
