Mother Farm - Tagura Futtsu Chiba Pref

Just the day after our arrival from The Netherlands our friends from Cafemiffy picked up from Park Hotel (our favourite hotel, where we spent some of our jet lag playing with Tometaro).

Destination an Onsen in Chiba prefecture, about one hour and a half from Tokyo. I will share that with you in an upcoming post because today I remembered about the nice farm we visited close to our Ryokan and about how many friends we met there.

The name of the Farm is "Mother Farm" and it was founded in 1962 by a man called Hisakichi Maeda. If you visit their website (there's an English version) you will discover more about this business man that is behind Tokyo's tower and newspapers.

But let's concentrate in animals and let me show you a little bit of the fun you can have there (but during winter time it's very, very cold)

 A big Ox
Miffa tried to milk a cow, but finally only Father Bunny did it
A very, very nice long horn ox, scary,
but very nice, you can actually feed hi
m
This is me with some cows in one of
The Farm's restaurants - excellent fresh milk

Baikin-Man decided to tease this poor cow that

is at the entrance (he didn't realize it wasn't a real one)

And of course i made a lot of friends there

The Great British Summer (we’re not kidding)

With so many pictures to display, enjoy and comment, one sometimes miss several nice ones.

Prior to our trip to Thailand, we were in UK. Obviously we were “invited” to go there rather than we desired to go, but anyways…

I managed to make some good friends there, like Rosie – Belgium- and a bunch of cows made out concrete!!!!

Planes, gas stations and traffic lights close to HRG airport
You know Rosie, the Belgian hare? Nice fur that I envy
We manage to drive high output luxury cars like this MB S-Class
And a lot of "non bunnie family" friends came with me on asisgnment
Bunnies were there - the boat project

Sunny Midsummer day at Buckinghamshire

After our summer holidays in Thailand - where cars have no heaters, just air conditioning - we arrived to Barcelona.

There, surprisingly, temperature was even higher than in Koh Samui!! Tired from a long plane travel from Bangkok to Helsinki and from there to Barcelona we unpacked all our stuff and specially all the nice presents our Cafemiffy made to us.

I was especially lucky, because my friends brought me this beautiful and adorable small white rabbit.

He wanted to go around Barcelona, but rabbits (specially white ones) don’t like beaches and sun.

A few days ago we took a plane again and now we are in United Kingdom enjoying a mix of rain & sun that people of this area (around 100 km North of London) call “Midsummer”.

We are in a beautiful red brick two stories typical house with a nice garden, so what could be better than some afternoon picnic?

Public Service Ad, buy dolce & Gabbana stuff.

Do you remember the old 007 movies where the "bad guys" didn't just use a Machete, or shoot him to death...

Instead they managed to imagine several pathetic ways to end with his life.

That it's ridiculous ! So we have some ideas.

I'm in the corner
Watching you kiss her
Oh
I'm right over here
Why can't you see me?

PS: tienes los brazos gordos y el pelo mal teñido, tía, Miffa no perdona una!!!!!

Let’s get some profits out of the economic crisis

Everyday during past months and even now the newspapers and news talk about crisis, recession, economic problems and new disasters to come.

As you know my grandpa – who put me and my sister in an orphanage when we were born- is one of the richest individuals of Asia. Surely his remorse made him to put some money in a Swiss account to guarantee our education and future. Of course the rules to access that money were and still are very strict. As an example my sister Aurore has been living in a floating house in Aberdeen during three years and she didn’t even know about that money existence.

I managed to take over the money – now it’s not the time to explain how I did it- and I decided to invest it in some “cannot miss” opportunities. I have gone over some problem with my investments and my position is not very good. To explain it plain, I’ve lost almost 50 % of my little fortune.

Could you say that it’s a big catastrophe?

Well, may be a pain in the ass, while I wait to recover from my looses – Think that half a fortune is better than just a salary- I am living with my step parents, paying no rent, no food, no water, no nothing!

And the crisis is not as bad if you have some cash, fuel prices are going down, car vendors – worried about their sales dropping 40 % or more- offer you incredible prices (if you pay with real money or you have good credit)

My Aston needed some fixes and it’s not the kind of car you want to drive these days (May be someone thinks that I am banker and put the car on fire), so I decided to get a new little limo for me and Aurore Marie.

It’s a nice black Mercedes Benz CLS with little luxuries like a DVD player, footrest, working table and full leather interior. Blame me for being so hedonist but at least I have paid my car with my own money.

Six Bunnies, me and lawyers

I am telling you, I am happier than ever, Father Bunny and – sometimes- Mother Bunny give me a lot of love, hugs and kisses, my twin sisters is with me after almost fours year living without knowing about each other…

But still, when I found something that surprise me or disturb me, I must investigate it.

In Zurich FB took a picture (the one above us), it was raining and there was no light, but after some zooming we managed to find the source: Sixbunnies

Next time if I receive a letter from Mercis’ lawyer I know what to do.

The Supreme Council meeting in Switzerland

By our special reporter Miffu Chan

As you may imagine a secret meeting has a secret agenda. Nevertheless this fact an official note has been released and some “notable assistants” has filtered some news to us.

The meeting took place finally in Maienfeld – were Heidi’s house is located-

As you know this meeting’s agenda changed when Miffa expressed her desire to submit her twin sister candidature to The Council. Apart from this unexpected event the members discussed about general guidelines for the next quarter and general forecasting for the same period.

Ninjtje from Japan – the older member of the council – was confirmed as President of The Council for the next two years period.

Chairoko and Kiiroko from Japan are joining The Council as senior members while Pipi is joining as a Trainee member. Miffo joins too as senior member.

9J – that was unable to attend the meeting due to some red tape problems – is promoted to senior member and she will be responsible for all the operations of The Council in China, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The Council wants to show its greatest consideration to 9j, who has demonstrated outstanding abilities to promote The Council activities around the world. She is awarded the “Golden Hare “ award for these merits.

Miffa is confirmed as the Chairman of The Council and General Manager Europe and the rest of the world excluding Asia. The members expressed their worries about Miffa concentrating such a big territory and a General Manager America position will be a priority for next quarter. The Council expressed its worries about some “late affairs” that Miffa has been involved into and her “Orange Cap Sect” activities that were not explained to The Council to the full extent expected.

Despite her linage and experience Miffa’s sister will need to complete the habitual induction program to join The Council as a junior member. This fact is considered as a punishment for Miffa’s Orange Cap Sect activities.

The next meeting will be held in Asia in an undetermined date, but The Council urged Miffa to organize an intermediate local meeting with 9j to further development and alignment between the West and East strategies.

The Orange Cap Sect accepts a new member

Miffa is a member of The Supreme Council for The Bunny Attitude but as you might imagine the council is formed by many different bunnies that represents different parts of the world, different races, and of course who have different visions of the future bunny world.

As I have told to my daughter a lot of times one of the most widespread rabbit is the European Rabbit who has his origin in the Iberian Peninsula.

Anyways, she decided to become a Buddhist Bunny and to create her own sect inside it. As time passed by Draculina, Ookina and new members of the orange cap joined her and they have developed their own rules and culture.

Yesterday Draculina’s twin sister arrived from Hong Kong after a real nightmare finding her way from Madrid to Barcelona. She has been sleeping all the day long until 18:00 when Miffa, Ookina, Draculina and Miffu (the only no orange cap member accepted) were waiting to have tea.

The ceremony ended about 21:00 when Draculina’s twin sister has received her new nameDraculina J- and, after reading the letter 9j wrote, she was nominated as a new sect member.

Of course 9j is a member of the sect and the council. As Miffu, she is from Hong Kong and this is just enough to become a member if you pass the severe test and trials. You don’t need to wear that orange cap that – of course- denotes certain grade.

The graduation is a matter that it will be better explained by my daughter herself. In the pictures, please note the details that show the special character of this sect (ie: Miffa is wearing her band the other way out, with the golden colour outside)

Abejonejos - Mutant Bee Rabbits

Our friend Katanga – who is the only human inside the Supreme bunny Council – hates bugs, especially mosquitoes. More specifically, Tiger Mosquitoes who are active during the day and whose bit is very nasty.

She is an expert in all kinds of mosquito repellents and anti-mosquito warfare. A few days ago we watched an After Bite commercial on TV. This product is essentially ammonia in a convenient pack –similar to a big marker pen- that you use to reduce the itch mosquito bites cause to you.

The commercial starts saying: “what will happen if a mutant bee-rabbits bites you?"

A 3d model of a mutant white rabbit with bee stripes on his chest and wings shows us his smile while a couple of humans run from one point to another inside the room.

A very good idea that – one of the first it was Sony – confirms that the world will be bunny or it won’t be.

----cut here -----cortar aquí-----no usar ganchos-----do not use hooks---

First attempt, a great disaster (ok, may be just a disaster)

Mother Bunny is on a business travel (or at least that is what he just told Father Bunny) and my sisters were so excited about the new gift that our friends from Japan sent us last week that the atmosphere at home was getting really thick.

I must say Father Bunny is quite good cooker but he has a great defect – he does not like sweets – and even worse he has no idea about how to make cookies.

He and Ookina download a recipe from the Internet – Butter cookies- They taste good but they’re extremely hard to mould and de-mould with a 36 Celsius environment.

I knew it would happen, but I swear you they were there almost an hour dealing with the butter cookies.

Please do not check the original Miffy cookies here.

MOB or BOB - Man Over Board or Bunny Over Board.

"Mayday, Mayday, this is Miffa, Miffa, Miffa,
our position is 41°57'40.07"N 3°14'20.73"E
we lost our sailor Miffo, we start a BOB manouver
to recover her from the sea..." DRAMATIZATION

A Mayday situation is one in which a vessel, aircraft, vehicle, or person/bunny is in grave and imminent danger and requires immediate assistance. (Wikipedia dixit)

Of course Miffo wasn't in danger at all, but she insisted in checking our Emergency Procedure (EP) and FB's ability to make front to such dangers.

FB and Miffo emerge from water and they're ready to be lifted by the rescue helicopter

The Supreme Council of The Bunny Attitude (TSCTBA)

Sometimes in this blog some information about this former ultra secret society has appeared. Despite some changes in the past months it continues to be an invite only society devoted to many activities, but with only one main objective that involves the world domination.

New, younger members have been promoted and with our power increasing during past years, with many of us in world key positions, we have decided to star a new more open approach.

Some of the first secret meetings of our council took place while having some tea.

A couple of years after one of those meetings we developed a new tea with secret properties…

Bad Habits – Malas constumbres

I need some time, let’s say I need some of my Father’s time to classify and organize my pictures and our thoughts.

Meanwhile I just enjoy looking my pictures whit my sisters and friends while having tea, a very nice white tea that I bought in Honk Kong.

I am missing Hong Kong a lot this time. After a really “grey” travel with a lot of stress coming from my parents and visiting what it’s may be the biggest trade fair in Asia – very boring and tiring activity- .

Besides my father told me during our trip that we won’t travel to Dubai this summer and I got upset with him. I tried to change her mind using “guerrilla” techniques:

  • I use a chador the rest of my trip
  • I don’t speak to him in English or Spanish, just Cantonese
  • And in the hotels we stayed in Mainland China I organized illegal games in our room and use his credit card to buy beer and cigarettes.

I was afraid of Mrs Katanga knowing about it (she advises my father about more strict education and going to school) but now I know that she smokes.

Genetics, department stores, GPS and heart rate monitors.

A week ago Father Bunny and his friend Mr. Barney ordered what my father thought that was “The ultimate” device. Both my father and Mr. Barney are hardcore geeks that spend large amounts of money in pathetic gadgets that normally use at only 10 % of their real performance.

The device is a Garmin forerunner 305, a GPS (Sirf III) device with plenty of options that surely can help you in achieving better performance. Let’s say it can do almost everything except running or cycling or skiing.

Mr. Barney is a very experienced ebay buyer and thus he helped FB tracking a brand new unit sold in Arizona (USA) for 150 € instead of the more than 400 that he will pay here in Europe (Is only me thinking than the EU distributors are robbing EU customers?)

He was worried about the gadget not arriving before his great running event. The one in which I decided to participate to defeat him. Needless to say is that I do not need that hardware

First it weights a lot, the track is perfectly signaled and most important a rabbit’s heart rate is in between 130 and 325 beats per minute.

Futomaki 太巻き

Futomaki 太巻き is a big thick roll usually vegetarian. Miffo is seriously cooking for us using the techniques she learnt from her Japanese family.

We are trying to learn some dishes from her but with irregular results. In the other hand Father Bunny is doing quite decent Baozi after our last visit to Hong Kong. May be he was not going to the gym at 6 o’clock while in Kowloon.

Umeko (梅子) visited Mexico. Part 1

First of all I would like to introduce Umeko. She is from Holland and part of the Chan family (a huge family with more members every day) since my last trip to Amsterdam.

Umeko wanted to travel to a distant place because she was a little bit depressed and tired of so many dark grey days and rain. She has a very adventurous and challenging character too, so Father Bunny arranged things and she travelled to Mexico.

I must say that both of us were scared about her visiting Mexico DF but she returned safe and very happy after a lot of joy and excitement visiting places and making new friends. Note that we may or may not endorse some opinions.

Umeko in Mexico!!

Umeko spent a whole month in Mexico, with Aunt Ale, who went to visit her family. She had a wonderful time looking up very interesting places, meeting people, enjoying the awesome weather, and best of all… tasting the REAL mexican food, totally different from that of many lousy “mexican” restaurants in Barcelona...(1)

Umeko couldn’t miss the huge Zocalo, the center of México City. There’s the National Palace and the Cathedral.

And here in the middle of the traffic hour (which actually seems to be every single hour in this city), in Paseo de la Reforma, one of the most important and beautiful avenues of the city. In the back, the Ángel de la Independencia, one of the most symbolic mexican monuments.

Actually, Umeko had the chance to live another kind of mexican experience, not the typical caribean spring break scene (2). And she’s also a witness: not every single mexican carries a gun, and of course, they don’t throw shots to the air to celebrate, as Father Bunny always tells…(3)

Mexican hospitality is well-known. The people is really warm and kind. The always try to make you feel like home. Of course, Aunt Ale’s family was delighted to receive Umeko, they just loved her, because she is so small, soft and cute!!

One weekend, the whole family went on a trip to Querétaro, which is about 2 hours from México City. She made a new friend, Lupita!

Lupita took Umeko to an emblematic place of Querétaro: la Peña de Bernal.

It’s a huge rock in one piece of about xxx m tall (4). Great place for camping, climbing and rappelling. The view is amazing, and people say even UFOs have been seen… great place for close encounters...

There’s also a little market of handcrafts where you can find all kind of typical mexican souvenirs.

Bye bye Lupita!!(5)

Miffa and FB's notes:

(1) Personally I hate Mexican restaurants
(2) She told me that she wanted to be there despite all the Americans and European looking for a ready to make Caribbean picture.
(3) That's true, some of them carry machine guns and knives to celebrate even louder.
(4) this article needs more research but I swear they were there.
(5) We will like to invite Lupita to Barcelona (or China)

PS: We arrange with Lloyds Umeko's travel insure (That covers any danger she eventually could face, including little bunnies kidnapping)

Saturday morning at Miffa's

Today father bunny and me went for some spare parts for our desktop computer. It’s an old model and we needed to fix the memory and the Hard Disk.

I don’t like to mess with electronic stuff so while he was buying the HD me and mother bunny went to the market and we bought these delicacies…

A nice bunch of fresh and sweet giant carrots for my sisters. Well, Drako is so big and she was so hungry that she almost finished them all.

You cannot really imagine how big she is until you stay by her side.

Compare! She is almost three times taller than me.!!

ビッグ (ookina) Drako

A few days ago a new shipping arrived to BCN harbour from Japan. It was shipped by Chairoko and Kiiroko Logistics. Unfortunately my Father was not in Barcelona and afterward the “customs” where closed.

Finally we managed to pick up it. But our cargo van was not enough big to transport the parcel. ;)

Inside a lot of goodies from Japan and lot of presents from our friends… And a Sumo fighter sized Draculina.

The first night all my sisters and friends were a bit afraid, even Miguelona and myself.

Check my new friend size! she will need to pay extra on a plane
