Miffa visits Madrid with mother and father bunny

But was really the first time that I had the time to really visit the city and stay in a nice Hotel. My previous visit was with father bunny and his colleagues and the conversation was not funny at all. Advertising, campaigns, direct marketing, blah blah.

We scheduled flight from bcn to mad on Friday at 18:30 with spanair. A company that father bunny uses for business travel but that he hates the most (he was supposed to arrive to his own book presentation with other co-authors and missed because plane was late…) Anyways we arrived two hours late because of whatever and most important…

Plane was full and I travelled all the time over my father knees. We booked a nice restaurant and they had just a few minutes to get there after checking in at the hotel.

Hotel was not so nice as we thought, but… anyways I took a lot of pictures and I will explain to you all my adventures there.

My friend Cutnejo

I have met a new friend over the net, his name is Cutnejo. He is a little bunny like me, well, in fact he is much little, even more than little tiny bunny (my cousin) is.

Anyways I love him because he is
sweet and tender and I feel somehow the need to protect this little bunny that
looks so fragile and tender.

He had a bad encounter with
some crazy birds and he has a damaged ear and gets scared when he saws any bird…

Mather bunny is not a fan of
him but with some complicity of father bunny I have been able to invite him to
many adventures. Next one will be go skiing. He has not any ski outfit so I
decided to make one similar to my own. Yesterday he came to my place while I was
finishing the garment and he tried it.

With mother bunny at "La Florida"

Here it's me with my teddy having breakfast at La Florida Hotel. Father bunny and me packed our things yesterday and met mother bunny there.

Father bunny said " You are going to look very nice with this hair band" and both of us put in our best clothes to make mather bunny a big surprise.

I am having a lot of fun because everything is very nice and form my room I can see a magnificent view of the City. I'm taking a lot of pictures to share with my friends.

I took my bath book with me and we will take a bath while reading some nice stories about little bunnies.

Father bunny will bring me a new toy today... how excited I am!

Miffa wants a degree in subvertising

A few days ago I heard a conversation within father and uncle bunny about brands. Me, as a little bunny that I am, have no idea about it so I asked both of them about the meaning of this word

Uncle bunny said –“ a brand can be defined as a set of symbols, than can be both visual and phonetic that are associated with a company, product, service…”

Father bunny interrupted him and replied “ yeah, right but do not forget miffa that the important thing behind that is the set of expectations that are built upon that brand”

And uncle bunny added “ there’s no brand without public notoriety so the visual and cognitive function must be present and be strong enough..”

Father replied

“but the latest tendencies showed us that a brand and its set of expectations must destroy the individual conscience to make the people experiment the values exposed by the brand itself”

and then added

“a good brand is like a virus with enough ability to widespread and to mutate as fast as tendencies change”

I could not believe what my little bunny ears were listening to. Brands are like viruses that inoculate into peoples mind and control them. “We need a vaccine” I said very loud.

“Do not worry Miffa, there are some” said father bunny, one of them is SUBVERTISING

Wikipedia says: “Subvertising refers to the practice of making spoofs or parodies of corporate and political advertisements in order to make a statement. This can take the form of a new image, or an alteration to an existing image.”

So, uncle bunny showed me some computer skill with image manipulation and image composition software and I spent almost all this weekend researching this new area of art. SUBVERTISING.

More art, more, please more

This Sunday father, mother, uncle and aunt bunny were at the CCCB attending code_v in cccb, a new edition of The BAC! Festival (International Contemporary Art Festival of Barcelona). I wanted to go but the mature content of the event makes it unsuitable for a little bunny. Anyways this is what I read:

Miffa's pizza recipe ::: bunny pizza

Father bunny and me waiting for mother bunny and we’re getting impatient so father bunny said:

-Let’s make a pizza Miffa

And I replied

-What an excellent idea.

And I grab a frozen one from the fridge, but father bunny replied

- No, no, Miffa we’re going to make pizza as my grandma bunny does

And so we did. Father bunny told me the “secret recipe”, for a medium pizza you will need:

- 500 grams or one pound of wheat flour
- 2 table spoons olive oil (pure)
- 1 tea spoon baking powder
- 250 ml (half cup) warm water (30 ºC)
- ½ tea spoon of salt

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and water for about 1 minute and then add the oil, mix gently for about 3 minutes more. It’s very important that the mix has the right consistence (as a rule you should be able to make a ball firm enough as to throw to another bunny) add more flour if needed.

Let the “ball” stay for about 20 inutes. Then on a flat surface place a thin layer of flour (to avoid the mix get stuck onto the surface) and using a roller (a bottle can be used if you don`t have one) expand the mix to your desired thickness. (miffa prefers it thin)

Put an oven paper or oil over the oven tray surface andplace it. Then it’s up to you but we suggest you to use fresh tomatoes and a little bit of fried tomato, fresh mozzarella cheese and species. On top of it it’s about your taste!

Miffa opens restaurant again

Father bunny is quite a good cooker and we always cook for mother bunny.

One day father bunny gave me a nice gift: a Cantonese cuisine recipe book and a wok.

Little baby bunnies like me cannot cook because fire is dangerous but father bunny instructed me in flavours, colours, textures and after a few week I became the chef and he became my assistant.

Last Friday father bunny bought SHARK, very, very uncommon here in BCN and we prepare this special menu for mother bunny. See the menu above.

Happy birthday father bunny!

Uncle bunny helped me and we did this nice picture as a gift for father bunny on his birthday. I had a lot of fun with mother bunny painting with crayons another card but I got my hands dirt.

Father bunny is going to make a nice cake and we, all of us, will had it after lunch.

Subvert! Let's save urban art in BCN

I wanna be a conceptual artist

Uncle bunny is a designer, but not just a regular one, he got his degree as industrial and product designer.

After sometime he recycled himself as graphic designer, and that after sometime doing interior design. Anyways as father bunny told me he is an artist.

And so, today we had lunch with uncle bunny and he explained to me what a conceptual artist it is.

“Conceptual art is your own vision of art, a true and unperverted way to express
emotions to another individuals that, at the end , it makes possible for those
creatures to think about the mere existence of humanity”

Quite confusing, I Said – so father bunny helped out a little bit.

I really did not understand a word but as they said at the end, people adore these artists “they laugh all their “motherfuck***” stupid stuff as this guy who actually was selling shit cause he said if an artist shits this piece of shit is an artist piece because its origin it’s inside an artist”

Too complicated for a little bunny like me, but if I am an artist and I’m selling my pet shit……
And people pay for it.

Circus - circus : we’re not blue anymore.

Father bunny was a great fan of all kind of motor sports in the past, specially bikes. He usually tells me that as soon as I can ride he will buy a mx bike for me to practice.

I would not want to disappoint him but I don’t think I will enjoy with that.

Anyways last Sunday we were watching some races on the TV and both of us have fun.

Father bunny explained to me that there are some stars, as they sure he wants me to be. One of them is a little boy dressed in blue that really rocks their rivals. Another two of them look like circus clowns to me:

Father explained to me: “As you know, Miffa, there’s always a smart clown and dumb one. The first one is always making fun of the poor dumb. The most effort the poor idiot is trying to do to achieve success, the cruelest the smart one is treating him and the most fun people are making of him.”

- “ I hate this bad clown father bunny” said to him
- “ I hate it too, Miffa” said father bunny

“But look –said father bunny – next year the dumb one is not going to be blue but red (and I wish this colour will be make right for him, but I won’t expect) and may be, this little boy dressed in blue will make fun of the bad clown you , Miffa, don’t like.”

Poor dumb clown… he is not blue anymore. Btw, father, who are those in orange?
Just for another circus that use to be the best of the world sometime ago.

Pirates of the Caribbean: little bunny questions

I watched this movie with father bunny several months ago, even mother bunny enjoyed it, cause she is not a adventure movies fan. Now there are promoting their sequel, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

Promotion includes enrolling a vessel in the Volvo ocean race.

Uncle bunny lived in Stockholm for one year or so and drove Volvo cars (That are now made by Ford, as Range Rover, Jaguar and ------blast------- Aston Martin).

A little bunny like me would like to know….

- After some loses why is Disney doing this kind of promotion?
- What if the Black Pearl won’t win against the movistar, brasil1, etc?
- Why Mr. Sparrow is not the captain?
- Do really little humans watch ship race on TV?
- If above question answer is yes… would they like to watch a movie if black pearl is not winning?
- Why Volvo cars are not Swedish any more?
- Is Ford using same crap (parts) in Volvo, Jaguar, etc
- If above question answer is yes, should mother bunny – who likes Jaguar, pay more for a different shaped Mondeo?
- Do you think going to the cinema is kind of expensive?
- I love Johnny Deep, do you know if a little bunny has any chance with him?

- Can you gobernate a ship drunk or stoned? (I have seen many people drinking on board and off)

Bird flu

Father & mother bunny have a nice surprise for me. We’re going to spend some days in Hong Kong. This is going to be a lot of fun. We plan to stay at The Peninsula Hotel with a nice view to Victoria’s harbour.

But aunt bunny is worried about us going there, she said that playing with birds and ducks could be dangerous.

Hi,

My name is Miffa and I am a little bunny from Hong Kong. I live in Europe with my step father and step mother bunny in a nice house from which the sea can be viewed.

Father and mother bunny where doing some shopping, kind of natural in HK, and tired of walking up and down the street and almost with their lesson learned: “Chance to be cheated, robbed or any kind of rip off arises, so be careful.”

So the decided to visit an store located at Yu Sung Boon Bldg., 107 Des Voeux Road Central where I had been waiting for my new parents to come.

I was lucky because other baby bunnies were introduced to father bunny. But, as he told me, he took the decision as soon as he saw me in a Nokia poster. That was almost a year ago.


Since then I have been part of many adventures and travels with father and mather bunny that I will share with you all.
